Bleaching Operation
IPPC employs different bleaching processes. It is capable to bleach pulp using chlorine base chemicals or using chlorine-free chemicals depending on the customer's requirements. The defiberized and screened pulp is pumped to bleaching chests where the pulp stock is heated and agitated during the bleaching process. When the target brightness or whiteness of pulp is attained, the bleaching reaction is stopped by the addition of stabilization chemicals.
Washing and Screening Operation
The bleached pulp passes again through series of washing and screening equipment to remove residual chemicals during bleaching and dirt that may still be present.
