Finishing Operation
The washed and screened pulp then passes through series of Centri-cleaners to further remove minute dirt by the centrifugal actions of the cleaners. This then goes to mold former equipment to form the pulp into sheet-like mat. This further goes to presses to initially remove retained water and to series of cylindrical dryers to finally remove some moisture to the specified moisture content of pulp sheets. After this, the dry sheeted pulp is cut into the desired dimension by rotary drum cutter and slitter cutter knife. The cut pulp sheets are weighed to 125 or 200 kg per bale, pressed, wrapped, labeled and ready for shipment. |
