Research and Development
Aware of its position in the specialty pulp production industry, where the process is considered a closed technology even to this day, Isarog, from its inception has sustained a Research and Development Program. This has enabled it to conduct basic and applied research on abaca and other raw materials for specialty pulping. The research and development of a specialty pulp grade takes approximately from one (1) to three (3) years to complete into a commercial product. Through the years, Isarog has developed different grades of abaca pulp, giving it the capability to meet quality requirement of its various customers. |
