Washing and Defiberizing Operation
After the cooking stage, the pulp undergoes series of washing and defiberizing processes. These are designed to remove residual chemicals of cooking, remove dirt that maybe included during cooking and to defiberize the pulp evenly for further processing. The equipment used during these stages are Screw Thickeners and Rotary Vibrating Screens. |
